Our Mission Statement

To create an experience that is fun, safe and educational for people of all ages and abilities. To provide an affordable place where our guests feel comfortable, are fed well and leave enriched from their experiences in the outdoors. To inspire greater group/family unity through: exploring primitive music and dance around campfires, dialogue and groovy outdoor activities.

Our Tipis

Our tipis are amazing! We have created a village with four 27’ foot wide tipi lodges furnished with a cedar deck and fire ring. All of our tipi lodges are made with canvas and traditional Lodge Pole Pine, harvested from the interior of British Columbia. Each Tipi can sleep 1-18 guests depending on the groups’ size and how much gear is brought. This is a real camping adventure so please bring all the appropriate bedding and necessities. (Keep in mind the season you plan to camp in.) We have provided a camper’s checklist for you that is a general all season guide for what to bring. We look forward to hosting your stay and helping you forge life long travel memories.

Tipi Rates

Money = Energy. We are dedicated to keeping prices reasonable so that relaxing here in our tipis doesn’t stress you out financially!

Standard Tipi Rates

For groups of 4 persons or less: $60 per night

For groups of 5 persons or more: $15 per person per night

Rates Clarified

Each tipi can hold up to 15-18 people depending on size of people, amount of gear and how good of friends you are! :)

From May through October, a two (2) night minimum stay is necessary when Friday or Saturday nights are included. Reservations made within one (1) week prior to stay will be exempted from the 2-night minimum.

Cornell graduation weekend/Memorial Weekend, we have a three (3)-night minimum.

Please take into account that there is an additional 11% combined state and local tax.

Special Rates and Discounts

10% discount on stays of four nights or more.

15% discount on seven nights or more.

20% discount for renting all four tipis for at least two nights.

Please give us a call if you are interested in our tipis as an event site for your birthday, anniversary, bridal or baby shower, wedding, reunion and/or other special occasions. We offer special rates and packages.

Cancellation Policy

In the event your plans change after the reservation is made:

You will not be held responsible for the cost of the intended stay if canceled with at least ten days notice.

Within 10 days of the arrival date, rain checks rather than refunds are available. You are responsible for the full cost of the intended stay but we will send an e-coupon for a future visit.

If you do not give any notice and do not show up for the intended stay, you are responsible for the full cost of the nights reserved with no rain check offered.

No refunds are given for early departures; however, we may be able to issue a rain check for a future stay.

Rates for Cornell Graduation Weekends/Memorial Weekends 2007-2009

Our tipis will cost $90 per tipi for groups up to four people and $25 per person per night for groups of five or more. All tipis will have a three-night minimum.

Cornell Graduation Weekend/Memorial Weekend Payment and Refund Policies

All quoted rates do not include 11% NY room and sales tax.

Full amount is to be paid in advance; one half is due upon reservation of stay and the other half will be due by January 1st of the year of your intended stay.

Cornell Graduation weekend reservations are nonrefundable after January 1st of the year of your intended stay.

How to Make Reservations

Reservation requests may be made via email and phone. Please call between 8 am and 10 pm, as Turtle Dreams is also our home. Leave a detailed message if we are unavailable to answer your call and we will get back to you ASAP. A Visa or MasterCard is needed to hold the tipi reservation and then the individual who reserves with their credit card is responsible for either agreeing for us to charge the total to that credit card during the stay or collecting the money from the group and giving it to us in total.

We accept cash and Visa and MasterCard for payment. Ask us about our barter/WWOOF opportunities.
